
Good news for drivers"PTT and Bangchak"have cut diesel prices by 1.50 baht per liter and gasoline prices by 0.50 baht per liter, effective 5 AM tomorrow, 17 April 2026.
On 16 April 2026, reporters reported that after the Oil Fuel Fund Management Committee meeting, it was approved to adjust fund rates to reduce retail prices of diesel and gasoline-gasohol to reflect weakening global market prices. On 16 April 2026, Singapore market prices closed at approximately 172 USD per barrel for diesel and 122 USD per barrel for gasoline, down about 1 and 3 USD per barrel respectively from the previous day. The fund rate adjustments take effect on 17 April 2026 as follows.
For diesel fuels, the fund rate for regular diesel was lowered by 0.04 baht per liter to a compensation rate of 2.83 baht per liter, resulting in a retail price reduction of 1.50 baht per liter to 42.90 baht per liter.
Meanwhile, for B20 diesel, the fund rate was increased by 0.15 baht per liter to a compensation rate of 9.21 baht per liter, leading to a retail price cut of 1.50 baht per liter to 35.90 baht per liter.
Most recently, PTT Station and Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) announced a price cut of diesel by 1.50 baht per liter and gasoline by 0.50 baht per liter, making the prices on 17 April 2026 as follows.
