Metropolitan Waterworks Authority Announces Water Outages and Low Pressure Areas on 18 April 2026

The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) has announced areas in Bangkok and Samut Prakan where water supply will be cut off or flow weakly on 18 April 2026. Check which areas are affected.

On 17 April 2026, the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) announced water outages and low pressure in certain areas from the night of 17 April to the morning of 18 April 2026 due to maintenance of water pipes, pipe joint cuts, pressure adjustments, and suspension of pumping station and water plant operations.

Announcement of water outages on 18 April 2026 in Bangkok and Samut Prakan areas.

1. Suspension of pumping at Min Buri water pumping station to allow the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) to maintain equipment.

• From 22:00 on 17 April to 05:00 on 18 April, water pumping and water plant operations will be stopped. Pipe size: -
• Affected areas: No impact.

2. Power outage supplying Ladprao pumping station due to MEA equipment maintenance.

• From 23:00 on 17 April to 04:00 on 18 April, electrical equipment will be checked and maintained. Pipe size: -
• Affected areas: No impact as bypass is available.

3. At the entrance of Pitaktham Soi on Pu Chao Saming Phrai Road.

• From 10:00 to 15:00 on 18 April, a 300 mm PVC water pipe burst and leak occurred.
• Affected areas: The work site at the entrance of Pitaktham Soi on Pu Chao Saming Phrai Road; water outage in Pitaktham Soi, Erawan Textile Soi, Samrong Tai 11 Municipality, and Rompradu.
