The Ministry of Energy reports domestic fuel reserves as of 22 April 2026, stating Thailand has sufficient fuel for approximately 112 days. This includes 25 days of legal reserves, 25 days of commercial reserves, 39 days of fuel in transit, and 23 days of confirmed procurement.
Domestic and international retail fuel prices, referencing PTT prices, are: diesel (B7) at 41.70 baht, diesel (B20) at 34.70 baht, gasoline (E20) at 35.45 baht,gasohol(95) at 42.45 baht, and gasohol(91) at 42.08 baht.Comparing Thai retail fuel prices with ASEAN countries, the average gasoline price in Thailand is 42.45 baht per liter. In contrast, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar, and Singapore range from 47.65 to 87.24 baht per liter. Diesel prices in Thailand are 41.70 baht per liter, while Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar, and Singapore range from 44.30 to 117.99 baht per liter.
As of 22 April 2026, the fuel fund's financial status showed a deficit of 62.06 billion baht, with diesel price subsidies amounting to approximately 31.62 million baht daily.
