Latest Update on Thai Help Thai Plus: May Registration and Eligibility for 4,000 Baht Payment

Latest update "Khon La Khrueng Plus" or "Thai Help Thai Plus" Who is eligible? Check the conditions to receive 1,000 baht per month for 4 months.

This has become a highly anticipated program for many, namely "Khon La Khrueng Plus" or "Thai Help Thai Plus" which is a flagship policy of the Bhumjaithai Party that had campaigned on this and consistently stated that once in government, it could be implemented immediately to help reduce the cost of living for the public.

Recently, updates on the project reported that more than 20 million people will be eligible simultaneously, with registration opening in May. Payments will begin in June, providing 4,000 baht per person over 4 months, at 1,000 baht per month.

Additionally, it was reported that the Khon La Khrueng Plus program will run alongside additional payments to state welfare cardholders, approximately 14 million people, who are expected to receive an extra 4,000 baht each, paid monthly at 1,000 baht, similar to Khon La Khrueng Plus. However, these beneficiaries will pay the full price for goods. Both programs are part of the larger relief measure called "Thai Help Thai Plus."

Previously, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, explained the reason for renaming the Khon La Khrueng Plus program: due to the Middle East situation impacting the public, the name changed from "Khon La Khrueng" (Half-Half) to "Thai Help Thai Plus." The funding allocation is aimed at helping the public rather than a 50:50 co-payment. The focus shifts from economic stimulus to direct assistance to increase cash flow in the economy, extending the duration from 2 to 4 months.
