Two More Social Media Accounts of “Bird Wannangwang” Set to Be Closed He Has Arrived in Thailand

Pol. Maj. Gen. Chatchapandakan has coordinated with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to close two more social media accounts of “Bird Wannangwang,” requesting public cooperation to report rather than like or share, while reports confirm he has arrived in Thailand.

On 29 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Maj. Gen. Chatchapandakan Klayklung, Deputy Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division, updated that after yesterday's interview about closing the "Bird Wannangwang" page and accounts on three other platforms, coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has been completed and those accounts have now been closed.

Further investigation found that the three closed accounts were on Facebook. The working team at TCCD 2 also identified two additional accounts of “Bird Wannangwang” on YouTube and TikTok. A meeting is planned today to compile evidence and propose that the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society close these two accounts as well.

The public is urged, if they encounter inappropriate content, not to like, share, or comment, but instead to help by reporting the content.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that “Bird Wannangwang” returned to Thailand last night. The actions involved are considered to violate the Computer Crime Act, and authorities may issue summonses or seek arrest warrants if there is reasonable cause to believe offenses have been committed.

The TCCD 2 working team is scheduled to meet at 12:30 today at the 4th-floor conference room, Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, Building B, to finalize the approach for legal proceedings.
