On 1 May 2026, the Gold Traders Association reported that in the first update at 9:01 a.m., prices dropped by 300 baht, resulting in "gold bar prices" buying price of 70,950 baht and selling price of 71,150 baht per baht-weight, while "gold ornament prices" buying price was 69,523.76 baht and selling price was 71,950 baht per baht-weight. Gold price per 1 baht weight Based on the gold weights as follows: gold bar 1 baht weighs 15.244 grams, and gold ornament 1 baht weighs 15.16 grams.
Gold price for 2 salueng or 50 satang gold price, buying and selling prices are based on the following weights: gold bar 2 salueng weighs 7.622 grams, and gold ornament 2 salueng weighs 7.58 grams.
Gold price for 1 salueng Buying and selling prices are based on the following weights: gold bar 1 salueng weighs 3.811 grams, and gold ornament weighs 3.79 grams.
Gold price for half salueng Buying and selling prices are based on the following weights: gold bar half salueng weighs 1.905 grams, and gold ornament half salueng weighs 1.89 grams.

However, reporters noted that from market opening until 11:30 a.m., the Gold Traders Association reported six price fluctuations, with the latest, the sixth change, occurring at 11:45 a.m. "Gold bar prices" buy at 70,900 baht and sell at 71,100 baht per baht-weight, while "gold ornament prices" buy at 69,478.28 baht and sell at 71,900 baht per baht-weight.
