The Royal Gazette published Bangkok's fiscal year 2025 budget announcement under Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, showing actual revenue exceeded estimates while expenses were lower than expected, resulting in a budget surplus of 5.3 billion baht.


On 4 May 2025, reporters reported that on 1 May 2026,The Royal Gazettepublished the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's announcement regarding the financial report for fiscal year 2025, signed by Governor Chadchart Sittipunt.

The announcement of Bangkok’s financial report for fiscal year 2025 was issued under Section 120, Paragraph 2 of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Act B.E. 2528 (1985), with the following details:

For fiscal year 2025, actual revenue from regular and special income sources totaled 108,055,452,829.41 baht, exceeding the estimates by 3,505,949,029.41 baht.

Actual expenses, including regular and special expenditures, totaled 87,128,246,005.45 baht. When combined with 15,501,137,734.52 baht reserved for carryover spending, this was 1,889,620,060.03 baht below the estimates.

Meanwhile, the budget balance for fiscal year 2025 showed revenue exceeding expenses by 5,395,569,089.44 baht.
