Free Expressway Access on 13 May 2026 Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day Exempting Tolls on 3 Routes

On 13 May 2026, "Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day," the Expressway Authority of Thailand offers free access on three expressway routes, covering 63 toll booths.


FacebookExpressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT)The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), Ministry of Transport, announced toll exemptions on three expressways on Wednesday, 13 May 2026 (Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day), from 00:01 to 24:00 hours, covering the following routes:

  • Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway (Din Daeng–Bang Na–Dao Khanong) with 21 toll booths.
  • Si Rat Expressway (Chaeng Wattana–Bang Kho Laem–Srinagarindra) with 32 toll booths.
  • Udon Ratthaya Expressway (Bang Pa-In–Pak Kret) with 10 toll booths.

This toll exemption follows the policy of the government and Ministry of Transport, as stipulated in the amended concession agreements between EXAT, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), and Bangkok Northern Expressway Company Limited (NECL). It aims to facilitate public travel during the holiday, reduce public expenses, and help alleviate traffic congestion at toll booths.
