Check Eligibility for New State Welfare Card Registration on 25 May

Check the basic eligibility for those qualified to register for the new round of the State Welfare Card on 25 May, with exclusion of groups who have become wealthier or have income exceeding the criteria.

Reporters say the Ministry of Finance is preparing to open registration for the new round of the State Welfare Card under the "Thai Help Thai Plus" project, expected to begin on 25 May 2026.

Mr. Akniti Nititanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, revealed that this registration round will review eligibility by using databases and AI systems to thoroughly examine qualifications. This will provide opportunities for low-income people who were previously overlooked or missed in the last registration round to enter the system.

At the same time, the Ministry will screen the existing 13.2 million cardholders. Those found to have improved their financial status or have income exceeding the criteria will be removed.
