Thai Help Thai Plus and State Welfare Card Registration on 25 May 2026: Receive 4,000 Baht Support

Project Update “Thai Help Thai Plus” and “State Welfare Card” will open registration simultaneously on 25 May 2026, offering 4,000 baht in total assistance paid monthly at 1,000 baht each.

Project Progress The “Thai Help Thai Plus” program involves the government paying 60% and citizens paying 40% to ease the cost of living. It remains to be seen whether the program will be presented to the Cabinet on 19 May for approval to meet the registration and start date of 1 June 2026.

“Thai Help Thai Plus–State Welfare Card” payments divided into two phases

Regarding the “Thai Help Thai Plus” program, it is divided into two stages to maintain continuous purchasing power stimulation, namely:

• Phase 1 from June to July 2026 with a total budget of 2,000 baht over two months, paid as 1,000 baht per month.
  - Those eligible for the half-half program receive 60% from the government and pay 40% themselves.
  - State Welfare Card holders (using previous data, approximately 13.25 million people) who previously received 300 baht will get an additional 700 baht, totaling 1,000 baht per month for two months, with no contribution conditions and immediate usability.
• Phase 2 from August to September with a total budget of 2,000 baht over two months, paid as 1,000 baht per month.  
  - Those in the “Thai Help Thai Plus” program will continue to receive 1,000 baht monthly for two months, totaling 2,000 baht.
  - State Welfare Card holders must undergo eligibility verification via new registration to confirm annual income below 100,000 baht to receive 300 baht monthly plus a special government addition of 700 baht, totaling 1,000 baht for two months, or 2,000 baht in total.
  ** If State Welfare Card holders fail the criteria, their benefits will be adjusted to the general half-half co-payment scheme via the Paotang app. **

When to register for “Thai Help Thai Plus–State Welfare Card”

Registration for “Thai Help Thai Plus” and “State Welfare Card” begins from 25 May onwards through government-designated channels. All eligible individuals will receive 4,000 baht.

Steps to register for “Thai Help Thai Plus” via the Paotang app

Registration through the Paotang app is divided into two groups: those who have never received half-half benefits before and those who have, with the following steps:

For those who have "never" received half-half program benefits before:

1. Update the Paotang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet.

2. Open the Paotang app and tap the “Thai Help Thai Plus” banner.

3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm registration.

4. Receive registration results via notifications on the Paotang app and SMS within 3 days.

5. Top up G Wallet before starting to use the benefits.

For those who have "previously" received half-half program benefits:

1. Update the Paotang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet.

2. Open the Paotang app and tap the “Thai Help Thai Plus” banner.

3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm registration.

4. Receive registration results via notifications on the Paotang app.

5. Top up G Wallet before starting to use the benefits.
