Registration for Thai Chua Thai Plus to Receive Benefits via Pao Tang App Begins 25 May 2026

"Thai Chua Thai Plus" Preparing to register for benefits and use through the app "Pao Tang" Check eligibility conditions for participants in the program where the government covers 60% and citizens pay 40%, starting on 25 May 2026.

After a Cabinet meeting, the government approved the "Thai Chua Thai Plus" project to overcome the crisis together, aiming to assist citizens with living costs to get through the cost-of-living crisis.

This project provides aid and relief to over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card mechanism (the low-income card) with 13.18 million people, and to the general public without the welfare card numbering 30 million people. They will receive the "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" benefit, where the government supports 60% and citizens pay 40%, with details as follows.

Duration of the "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" project

Starting from 25 May to 30 September 2026 Details are as follows:

Merchant registration opens

1. For entrepreneurs who previously participated in the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program, they can confirm their rights to join the "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" program via the "Tung Ngern" app from 25 May to 30 September 2026.

2. For entrepreneurs who have never joined the Khon La Khrueng Plus program, they can register to participate in the "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" program through branches of Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited from 25 May to 31 July 2026.

Citizen registration opens

• From 25 May to 29 May 2026 (06:00 to 22:00), until the total of 30 million participants is reached or until the final registration day of 29 May 2026, whichever comes first.
• Eligible citizens can use the benefits from 1 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 to 23:00).
• They can purchase food, beverages, goods, and specified services from participating merchants.
• Purchases of food or beverages via Food Delivery Platforms through the "Pao Tang" app can be made from 15 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 to 21:00).

"Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" Eligibility Criteria for Registration

Up to 30 million citizens qualify under the following conditions:

1. Must be a Thai national.

2. Must be at least 18 years old on the registration date.

3. Must have a national ID card.

4. Must not have had rights suspended or been required to return funds from previous Khon La Khrueng programs, including phases 1 through 5 and Khon La Khrueng Plus.

5. Must not hold a State Welfare Card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 18 May 2026.

How to register for "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" and use benefits via the "Pao Tang" app

For the "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" program, registration and usage must be done solely through the "Pao Tang" app, following these steps:

1. Open the Pao Tang app and tap the banner for the Thai Chua Thai Plus project (on the app's main page).

2. Read the project details and terms, then tap the Register button.

3. A message will confirm receipt of the benefit and show the start date for using the rights. Tap OK.

Steps to use "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" benefits

1. Open the Pao Tang app and select the project icon.

2. The main project page will display available benefits.

3. Scan the QR code to make payments at participating merchants.
