After the Cabinet meeting approved the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" project to overcome the crisis together, aiming to help citizens with living costs to get through the cost-of-living crisis.

This project assists and alleviates impacts for over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups under the state welfare card (poor card) system of 13.18 million people, and the general public without the welfare card can register to receive benefits through "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" where the government covers 60% and citizens pay 40%.

The project period is set from 25 May to 30 September 2026, with approximately 30 million entitlements available or until the last registration day on 29 May 2026, whichever comes first, with details as follows.

Timeline of the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" project

The registration and usage periods for the Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) project are as follows.

• From today onward: Install the "Pao Tang" app via the App Store or Play Store and link the G Wallet service.
• 25 May 2026: Registration opens for the public to join the project via the Pao Tang app daily from 06:00 to 22:00.
• 29 May 2026: Registration closes through the Pao Tang app.
• 1 June 2026: The public can start using the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" benefits daily from 06:00 to 22:00.
• 15 June 2026: Food delivery usage begins daily from 06:00 to 22:00.
• 30 September 2026: The "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" project ends at 23:00.

*** Beneficiaries receive 1,000 baht per month (up to 4,000 baht total throughout the project). Unused funds in any period will not roll over to the next month.

How to register for "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)"

Registration for the public via the Pao Tang app is open from 25 to 29 May 2026, 06:00 - 22:00.

Participants must meet the following qualifications:

1. Must be a Thai national.

2. Must be at least 18 years old on the registration date.

3. Must have a national ID card.

4. Must not have had their rights suspended or been required to refund money in state projects such as (1) Khon La Khrueng Phase 1, (2) Phase 2, (3) Phase 3, (4) Phase 4, (5) Phase 5, and (6) Khon La Khrueng Plus.

5. Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 18 May 2026.

Conditions for using the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" benefits

• Before first use, beneficiaries must check remaining entitlement and usage conditions.
• For buying and selling goods/services, both buyer and seller must transact and scan QR codes face-to-face; online or intermediary transactions are not allowed by any means.
• Benefits can be used daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
• Participants must not perform any actions that cause misunderstandings or obstacles to the operation of any state measures or projects.
