Cabinet Approves Thai Chua Thai Plus: Clear Summary of Conditions to Receive 4,000 Baht

The Cabinet has given approval "Thai Chua Thai Plus" A simple summary of the conditions to receive 4,000 baht: when to register, how to register, when aid starts, and when it can be spent.

Project Update "Thai Chua Thai Plus" This project helps citizens affected by the energy crisis caused by conflicts in the Middle East by easing their financial burden and maintaining their purchasing power.
It also supports business operators by generating income from selling goods and services to sustain their livelihoods and operations. The government subsidizes 60% of food, beverages, goods, and specified services for participants in the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) program, to be spent at participating stores. Registration is open for 30 million rights.

Eligibility for registering in "Thai Chua Thai Plus"

• Must be a Thai national
• Must be at least 18 years old on the registration date
• Must have a national ID card
• Must not have been suspended or had to repay funds under state projects including: (1) Khon La Khrueng (2) Khon La Khrueng Phase 2 (3) Phase 3 (4) Phase 4 (5) Phase 5 and (6) Khon La Khrueng Plus
• Must not hold a state welfare card as per the Ministry of Finance's database as of 18 May 2026

Registration channels for "Thai Chua Thai Plus"

Those wishing to receive rights under the project "Thai Chua Thai Plus" Can register from 25 - 29 May 2026, between 06:00 - 22:00 hrs. Limited to 30 million rights, divided into two groups:

1. Those who have previously received Khon La Khrueng Plus rights Can register and check results via notifications on the Pao Tang app

2. Those who have never received Khon La Khrueng Plus rights Can register and check results via SMS and notifications on the Pao Tang app

To prevent misuse by non-owners of ID cards, recipients must verify their identity as specified by the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) project. Verification must be done via national ID at Krungthai Bank branches or ATMs with the Confirm ID symbol, except for those who have already verified their ID through other state projects or Krungthai Bank channels.

How to register and use rights in Thai Chua Thai Plus via the Pao Tang app

Divided into two groups as follows:

Those who ‘have’ received Khon La Khrueng Plus rights

1. Update the Pao Tang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet

2. Open the Pao Tang app and tap the banner ‘Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)’

3. Accept terms and conditions and confirm registration

4. Registration result will be notified via the app

5. Top up G Wallet before starting to use rights

6. Rights can be used from 1 June to 30 September 2026, from 06:00 to 23:00 hrs.

7. Check usage history and remaining balance in the Pao Tang app

Those who ‘have not’ received Khon La Khrueng Plus rights

1. Update the Pao Tang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet

2. Open the Pao Tang app and tap the banner ‘Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)’

3. Accept terms and conditions and confirm registration

4. Registration result will be notified via the app and SMS within 3 days

5. Top up G Wallet before starting to use rights

6. Rights can be used from 1 June to 30 September 2026, from 06:00 to 23:00 hrs.

Conditions for using "Thai Chua Thai Plus" rights

Citizens can use Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) rights from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00 hrs. Food delivery services are available from 15 June to 30 September 2026, from 06:00 to 21:00 hrs.

• The government covers 60%, and the user pays 40% via the Pao Tang app throughout the project period from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00 hrs.
• Rights are limited to 200 baht per person per day, with a maximum of 1,000 baht per month and a total of 4,000 baht for the project duration.
• Monthly rights are capped at 1,000 baht per person, totaling no more than 4,000 baht for the entire project. Unused rights will not roll over to the following month.

  The rights balance will reset on the 1st of each month.

• Rights can only be used at stores participating in the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) program.

• Rights usage is allowed daily from 06:00 to 23:00 hrs and cannot be used outside these hours.

• Eligible items include participating food, beverages, general goods, and public transport services. Excluded are government lottery tickets, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, vouchers, cash cards, and other prepaid services.
