Tonight at 10 PM: Watch the Moon Pass in Front of the Pleiades Star Cluster, Visible in the West

The National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) invites you to observe the phenomenon "the Moon passing in front of the Pleiades star cluster" tonight, 21 May 2026, visible in the western sky


FacebookNARIT, the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailandposted a message stating, "The astronomical calendar for 21 May 2026 notes that the Moon will pass in front of the Pleiades star cluster, visible in the west from about 10:00 PM to 11:20 PM.

For those interested in observing, since the Pleiades star cluster is faint, it is recommended to watch from dark areas free from city light pollution. Viewing with binoculars or a small telescope will enhance the experience."
