Latest update on the situation. "Thailand Helps Thais Plus" program. Clarifying the conditions to receive 4,000 baht: whether all citizens qualify and who is ineligible to register.


Progress update. “Thailand Helps Thais Plus”. This is a government initiative to assist citizens affected by the energy crisis due to the conflict in the Middle East region. It aims to ease living expenses and maintain purchasing power, as well as help business operators earn income from selling goods and services to continue their professions or businesses.

The government supports co-payment for food, drinks, goods, and designated services for participants in the Thailand Helps Thais Plus (60/40) program. Participants use this support to pay participating business operators. Registration will open for 30 million entitlements.

Registration conditions for "Thailand Helps Thais Plus."

Those wishing to receive benefits from the program. “Thailand Helps Thais Plus." Registration is open from 25 to 29 May 2026, between 06:00 and 22:00 hrs. Limited to 30 million entitlements, divided into two groups:

1. Those who have previouslyreceived benefits from the Half-Half Plus program can register and check results via notifications on the Paotang app.

2. Those who have not previouslyreceived benefits from the Half-Half Plus program can register and check results via SMS and notifications on the Paotang app.

To prevent misuse by persons other than the ID card owner, recipients must verify and confirm their identity as specified by the Thailand Helps Thais Plus (60/40) program.

Recipients must verify their identity using their ID card through Krungthai Bank channels, including branches or ATMs displaying the Krungthai Confirm ID symbol, except for those who have already verified their identity with other government programs or through Krungthai Bank previously.

Eligibility to register for "Thailand Helps Thais Plus" — Does everyone qualify?

Eligibility to register for "Thailand Helps Thais Plus."

  • Must be a Thai national.
  • Must be at least 18 years old on the registration date.
  • Must hold a Thai ID card.

Who cannot register for Thailand Helps Thais Plus?

  • Those suspended by the Fiscal Policy Office or required to return money from government programs, including (1) Half-Half program (2) Half-Half Phase 2 (3) Half-Half Phase 3 (4) Half-Half Phase 4 (5) Half-Half Phase 5 and (6) Half-Half Plus.
  • Those who do not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 18 May 2026.


Usage conditions for "Thailand Helps Thais Plus" — How much can citizens receive?

  • Citizens can use the Thailand Helps Thais Plus (60/40) rights from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00 hrs.
  • For food delivery orders, usage is allowed from 15 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 21:00 hrs.
  • The government pays 60%; recipients pay 40% via the Paotang app.
  • Usage is limited to no more than 200 baht per person per day, or up to 1,000 baht per person per month, with a maximum of 4,000 baht throughout the program.
  • Monthly usage cannot exceed 1,000 baht per person; total usage over the entire program cannot exceed 4,000 baht. Unused rights do not roll over to the next month.
  • Entitlement amounts will reset on the first day of each month.
  • Use is limited to participating businesses in the Thailand Helps Thais Plus (60/40) program only.
  • Usage is allowed daily from 06:00 to 23:00 hrs only; usage outside these hours is not permitted.
  • Applicable to eligible goods and services only, such as food, beverages, general goods, and public transportation services.
  • Not included are government lottery tickets, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, gift cards, cash cards, and other prepaid services or goods payments.
