Metropolitan Electricity Authority Warns of Power Outages on 23 May 2026 in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan

Check which areas will experience outages as the Metropolitan Electricity Authority announces power cuts on 23 May 2026 in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan to upgrade and maintain the electrical supply system for better efficiency.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announced the necessity to cut power in Bangkok on Saturday, 23 May 2026, to upgrade and maintain the electrical distribution system for improved efficiency. For safety during the work, MEA will temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows.

• Along Lat Ya Road, specifically Lat Ya Soi 9Up to Issarapap RoadFrom 08:00 to 13:00 hrs.
• Rama IX Road, Rama IX Soi 13, from 08:00 to 15:30 hrs.
• Ramintra Road, Ramintra Soi 40, Intersection 8-3, from 08:00 to 15:30 hrs.
• Laemthong Sports Village Road, Sois 42, 44, 46, 48, from 09:00 to 15:00 hrs.
• Along Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Road, MEA Thonburi branch area near The Obsidian Village, from Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Intersection 11 to Intersection 13, Bang Waek Intersection, and nearby areas as notified, from 08:30 to 15:30 hrs.
• Along Phetkasem Road (odd numbers side), from Phetkasem Soi 81/5 to Soi 81/6, including Hansaa Village (Land Department), Rubik Cube Village, Nong Khaem Land Office branch, Rakwit Kindergarten, Hansaa Community Project 5, and notified areas, from 08:30 to 15:30 hrs.

• Along Department of Public Works Road SP 2032 (Sai Bua Roy–Sao Thong Klang), from Khlong Ta Seng to Khlong Pak Kaphang,and Wat Bua Roy three-way intersection,MEA will cut power to add one more power circuit from 08:30 to 15:30 hrs.
