
Latest update "Thai Chua Thai Plus" Merchant registration conditions, where to apply for the program, and which product and service types participate
The Thai Chua Thai Plus program, initiated by the government under Anutin Charnvirakul, aims to assist people affected by the energy crisis resulting from conflicts in the Middle East region. It alleviates financial burdens and maintains purchasing power for citizens while helping merchants generate income from sales of goods and services to sustain their businesses. The government supports a co-payment scheme for food, beverages, goods, and specified services for participants in Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40), which can be used to transact with merchants registered in the same program (60/40).
Merchants wishing to register for the Thai Chua Thai Plus program can apply at the Ministry of Interior booths in cooperation with Krungthai Bank or any branch of Krungthai Bank from 25 May to 31 July 2026
1. Must be Thai-national operators of food, beverage, and general goods stores (merchant operators). Specifically,

joint service vehicles operating under licenses for public bus services, and public passenger boats (mass transit operators).
4. Small juristic persons only, specifically companies or partnerships legally established under Thai law who have filed corporate income tax returns under Section 68 and financial statements under Section 69 of the Revenue Code (Form P.N.D. 50) for the 2024 accounting period,
selling food, beverages, general goods, and providing public transport services with income not exceeding 1.8 million baht according to the Revenue Department database as of 30 April 2026. Public transport providers must hold valid legal licenses.
5. Merchants must not have had their rights suspended or been subject to refunds in state programs including
(1) Khon La Khrueng (Half-Half) program, (2) Khon La Khrueng Phase 2, (3) Phase 3, (4) Phase 4, (5) Phase 5, and (6) Khon La Khrueng Plus.

Download the application form here ) 1. Have a Krungthai Bank account.
2. Register as a "Thung Ngern" merchant at www.ถุงเงินกรุงไทย.com and download/update the "Thung Ngern" app to the latest version.
3. Verify business type and download application form to submit to the relevant agency.
4. Submit verified documents to the service point for program registration.
5. Receive approval notification via SMS.
6. Upon approval, the Thai Chua Thai Plus banner will appear in the "Thung Ngern" app.
7. Accept the program's terms and conditions.
8. Accept payments for goods and services from citizens between 1 June and 30 September 2026, 06:00–23:00.
9. Check payment history via the "Thung Ngern" app.
Steps to join Thai Chua Thai Plus for merchants who previously joined Khon La Khrueng Plus
2. Approved merchants will receive notifications via the "Thung Ngern" app.
3. Once qualified, the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) banner will appear in the app.
4. Accept the program's terms and conditions.
5. Accept payments from citizens between 1 June and 30 September 2026, 06:00–23:00.
6. Review payment history in the app.
Steps to join Thai Chua Thai Plus for merchants linked to food delivery platforms
2. Food and beverage merchants can link to food delivery platforms from 10 June 2026 onward, 06:00–23:00.
3. Tap the "Food Delivery Program" banner in the "Thung Ngern" app to accept terms and conditions.
4. Choose the desired food delivery platform to link.
5. Accept food and beverage payments from citizens between 15 June and 30 September 2026, 06:00–21:00.
6. Food delivery platforms provide riders to merchants.
7. Riders deliver food and beverages.
8. Check payment history in the "Thung Ngern" app.
