Update on the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" project to assist citizens affected by the energy crisis caused by conflicts in the Middle East region, easing expenses and maintaining consumer purchasing power.
It also aims to help business operators earn income from selling goods and services so they can continue their professions or businesses. The government supports co-payments for food, drinks, goods, and specified services to participants of the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) program to spend with participating vendors. Registration opens for 30 million slots from 06:00 on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Eligibility criteria for registering in the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus” program

Must be a Thai national
Must be at least 18 years old on the registration date
Must have a national ID card
Must not be suspended or required to repay funds in state programs, including (1) Khon La Khrueng phases 1 to 5, and (6) Khon La Khrueng Plus
Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 18 May 2026

Register for Thai Chuey Thai Plus What time? Those wishing to receive benefits from the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus” program can register from 25 to 29 May 2026 between 06:00 and 22:00. There are 30 million slots, divided into two groups:

1. Those who previously received Khon La Khrueng Plus benefits Can register and check results via notifications on the Pao Tang app

2. Those who have never received Khon La Khrueng Plus benefits Can register and check results via SMS and notifications on the Pao Tang app

Methods for identity verification in the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus” program

To prevent identity fraud, recipients must prove and verify their identity following the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) program procedures.

If facial scan fails, the following options are available:

Visit any Krungthai Bank branch with your original ID card
Use a Krungthai Bank ATM that supports identity verification with your original ID card

Except for those who have previously verified their ID with other state projects/measures or through Krungthai Bank channels

For ATMs without bottom-screen buttons (no ATM card needed)

Tap the blue bar on the screen to select services
Choose identity verification / welfare benefits
Select Krungthai Bank identity verification
Press “Acknowledge and certify” to confirm card ownership
Select “Consent” to allow data disclosure and identity verification
Insert your ID card and press “Next”
Wait for data verification
Choose “End identity verification,” take your ID card, and proceed on the “Pao Tang” app

For ATMs with bottom-screen buttons (no ATM card needed)

Select “Transactions with ID card” menu
Select “Identity verification service”
Press “Acknowledge and certify” to confirm card ownership
Select “Consent” to allow data disclosure and identity verification
Press “Next”
Insert your ID card and press “Next”
Wait for data verification
Choose “End identity verification,” take your ID card, and proceed on the “Pao Tang” app

5. Top up G Wallet before starting to use benefits

6. Benefits can be used from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00

7. Check usage history and remaining balance on the Pao Tang app
