Overview of the first day of registration for the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus 60/40” program.

Ms. Ploythep Laksameesangchan, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, reported that the government is very satisfied as the system operated smoothly and more stably than previous rounds. Although there was slight delay at the system launch at 06:00, Krungthai Bank quickly resolved the issue by increasing capacity from 300,000 transactions per second to over 700,000 transactions per second, preventing system crashes.

Regarding some users facing "face scan failures," it is confirmed this issue is unrelated to the benefit claiming process. It occurs with users opening the Pao Tang app for the first time or those who deleted and reinstalled the app. These users must verify their identity via e-KYC by using their ID card at gray ATMs or any Krungthai Bank branch nationwide. Those who see the message "awaiting registration results" are users who never participated in the previous Khon La Khrueng Plus program and must wait up to three days for eligibility verification.

The program will start benefit usage from 1 June, with the government covering 60% or 1,000 baht per month, while citizens must co-pay 40%, about 667 baht monthly, to use the full 100% benefit. It is emphasized that benefits must be used monthly; unused amounts are forfeited without rollover. Over the 4-month program, citizens will contribute a total of 2,667 baht to receive 6,667 baht in spending power.
