Reporters say the project "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" began allowing citizens to claim their participation rights through the "Pao Tang" app on 25 May 2026. The project aims to assist those affected by the energy crisis stemming from conflicts in the Middle East, easing their expenses and preserving purchasing power.

Meanwhile, the Thai Chuay Thai Plus project is set to help and mitigate impacts for over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card (Poor People's Card) system with 13.18 million people, and about 30 million general public without the welfare card.

Most recently, at 06:00 on 26 May 2026, the websitewww.ไทยช่วยไทยพลัส.thdisplayed a message regarding remaining rights for the Thai Chuay Thai Plus project, stating "Remaining rights total 5,845,752. Registration is through the Pao Tang app by clicking the banner for the Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) project only, from 25 May to 29 May 2026, daily from 06:00 to 22:00 (until all rights are allocated)."

Eligibility criteria for registering for Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40):

1. Must be a Thai national.

2. Must be at least 18 years old on the registration day.

3. Must have a national ID card.

4. Must not have been suspended or required to refund money by the Fiscal Policy Office in government projects including (1) Co-pay Scheme (2) Co-pay Scheme Phase 2 (3) Co-pay Scheme Phase 3 (4) Co-pay Scheme Phase 4 (5) Co-pay Scheme Phase 5 and (6) Co-pay Plus Scheme.

5. Must not hold a State Welfare Card according to the Ministry of Finance’s database as of 18 May 2026.

Who is ineligible for Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40):

  • State Welfare Card holders: Those holding the State Welfare Card cannot register for this project.
  • Those suspended or required to refund funds: People suspended or required to refund funds by the Fiscal Policy Office for government projects including Co-pay phases 1 to 5 and Co-pay Plus. .
  • People without smartphones: Most without smartphones are State Welfare Card holders who receive a top-up of 1,700 baht on their welfare card, combined with an existing 300 baht, totaling 2,000 baht, but they are not eligible for Co-pay Plus.

Reminder of conditions for using Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) rights:

  • Before first use, recipients must check remaining rights and usage conditions.
  • For buying and selling goods/services, buyers and sellers must conduct face-to-face transactions and scan QR codes to pay; online or intermediary transactions by any method are not allowed.
  • Rights can be used daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
  • Participants must not perform any actions that cause misunderstandings or obstruct government measures or projects.
