A reporter reported that the project "Thai Chua Thai Plus" opened for people to claim participation rights through the "Pao Tang" application on its first day, 25 May 2026. The project aims to assist citizens affected by the energy crisis caused by the Middle East conflict, easing expenses and maintaining purchasing power.

Meanwhile, the Thai Chua Thai Plus project will help and alleviate impacts for more than 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card mechanism (13.18 million people) and the general public without the State Welfare Card, about 30 million quotas.

Most recently, at 06:00 on 26 May 2026, the websitewww.ไทยช่วยไทยพลัส.thdisplayed the remaining quotas for the Thai Chua Thai Plus project, stating "Remaining quotas: 5,845,752. Register via the Pao Tang app by clicking the banner for the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) project only, from 25 May to 29 May 2026, daily from 06:00 to 22:00, until quotas are fully allocated."

Eligibility criteria for Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) registration

1. Must be a Thai national

2. Must be at least 18 years old on the registration day

3. Must have an identification card

4. Must not be suspended or required to repay funds by the Fiscal Policy Office in government programs, including (1) Half-Half project phases 1 to 5 and (6) Half-Half Plus project

5. Must not hold a State Welfare Card as per the Ministry of Finance database as of 18 May 2026

Who is ineligible for Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) rights

  • State Welfare Cardholders: Those holding the State Welfare Card cannot register for the program.
  • Those suspended or required to repay funds in government programs: Citizens suspended or required to repay funds by the Fiscal Policy Office in government projects including Half-Half phases 1 to 5 and Half-Half Plus. . (Note: combined with previous for clarity)
  • Those without smartphones: Mostly among State Welfare Cardholders, they receive a top-up of 1,700 baht on their welfare card in addition to the existing 300 baht, totaling 2,000 baht, and thus are ineligible for Half-Half Plus.

Reminder of usage conditions for Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)

  • Before first use, recipients must check remaining quotas and usage conditions.
  • For buying and selling goods or services, both buyer and seller must conduct transactions and scan QR codes face-to-face; online or third-party transactions are not allowed by any method.
  • Usage is allowed daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
  • Participants must not act in any way that causes misunderstanding or obstructs the implementation of any state measures or projects.
