
Partygoers and gamblers are out of luck! "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" Strictly prohibits purchasing alcohol, beer, and lottery tickets. Check eligibility conditions, spending deadlines, and allowed products.
After the Thai Chuay Thai Plus program opened for the public to claim participation rights via the "Pao Tang" application on its second day, aiming to assist people affected by the energy crisis stemming from the Middle East conflict by easing expenses and preserving consumer purchasing power.
People can register for rights through the Pao Tang app by clicking the Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) project banner only, from 25 May to 29 May 2026, between 06:00 and 22:00 daily (until all rights are allocated). Spending under the program starts from 1 June 2026.
Payment scanning through the program requires actual purchase of goods/services matching the scanned amount. Cash withdrawal or exchanging goods/services for cash is not allowed under any circumstances.
For those granted rights in the Thai Chuay Thai Plus program, the spending timeline is as follows:
Eligible items for purchase by entitled citizens include food, beverages, general goods, and public transport services. Items not allowed include:
1. Government lottery tickets
2. Alcoholic beverages
3. Tobacco products
4. Vouchers, cash cards, and other prepaid goods or service payment forms
Any additions or changes to the list of goods and services under the Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) program shall be determined by the Minister of Finance.
