Partygoers and gamblers are out of luck! "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" Strictly prohibits purchasing alcohol, beer, and lottery tickets. Check eligibility conditions, spending deadlines, and allowed products.

After the Thai Chuay Thai Plus program opened for the public to claim participation rights via the "Pao Tang" application on its second day, aiming to assist people affected by the energy crisis stemming from the Middle East conflict by easing expenses and preserving consumer purchasing power.

People can register for rights through the Pao Tang app by clicking the Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) project banner only, from 25 May to 29 May 2026, between 06:00 and 22:00 daily (until all rights are allocated). Spending under the program starts from 1 June 2026.

Payment scanning through the program requires actual purchase of goods/services matching the scanned amount. Cash withdrawal or exchanging goods/services for cash is not allowed under any circumstances.

How to use your "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" entitlement

For those granted rights in the Thai Chuay Thai Plus program, the spending timeline is as follows:

  • From 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00, spend at participating stores by paying via G Wallet in the Pao Tang app.
  • From 15 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 21:00, order food through participating food delivery services, paying via G Wallet in the Pao Tang app.

Conditions for using rights in the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" program

  • Before the first use, participants must check their remaining rights and the conditions for use.
  • For buying and selling goods/services, buyers and sellers must conduct face-to-face transactions and scan QR codes to pay for goods/services.
  • Transactions via online channels or intermediaries are not allowed under any method.
  • Rights can be used daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
  • Participants must not engage in any actions that cause misunderstandings or obstruct the implementation of any government measures or programs.

How to buy food and drinks through food delivery platforms

  • Using rights via food delivery platforms applies only to the purchase of food and beverages by program participants.
  • The government supports payments only for food and beverage costs, excluding delivery fees or other expenses.
  • Rights can be used to order food and drinks through food delivery platforms daily from 06:00 to 21:00.
  • Receiving or demanding cash change or benefits other than ordering food and beverages through food delivery platforms is prohibited under any circumstances.
  • Food and beverage transactions via food delivery platforms must be genuine sales where buyer and seller are not at the same location or the same person.

Check the list of items not allowed for purchase under "Thai Chuay Thai Plus"

Eligible items for purchase by entitled citizens include food, beverages, general goods, and public transport services. Items not allowed include:

1. Government lottery tickets

2. Alcoholic beverages

3. Tobacco products

4. Vouchers, cash cards, and other prepaid goods or service payment forms

Any additions or changes to the list of goods and services under the Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40) program shall be determined by the Minister of Finance.
