A reporter reported that after the "Thai Chua Thai Plus" program opened for the public to claim entitlements through the "Pao Tang" application on the first day, 25 May 2026, the program aims to assist people affected by the energy crisis caused by conflicts in the Middle East, easing expenses and maintaining purchasing power.
Meanwhile, the Thai Chua Thai Plus program will help and mitigate impacts for over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card mechanism (welfare card holders) totaling 13.18 million people, and the general public (non-welfare card holders) with about 30 million entitlements.
Most recently, at 10:02 p.m. on 26 May 2026, checking the websitewww.ไทยช่วยไทยพลัส.thshowed a message on remaining entitlements for the Thai Chua Thai Plus program stating "Remaining entitlements: 4,926,162. Registration is via the Pao Tang app, claiming through the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) project banner only, from 25 May to 29 May 2026, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily (until the entitlement quota is reached)."
