Elderly people will receive two payments in June 2026 from the "Thai Chua Thai Plus" program and their regular old age allowance to help cover living expenses.
On 27 May 2026, reports indicated that after the government opened registration for citizens to claim their rights to participate, in the Thai Chua Thai Plus program, via the application "Paotang", since 25 May 2026, many citizens and seniors have gradually joined the program.
Eligible recipients will receive financial assistance of 1,000 baht per month for four months, totaling 4,000 baht, from 1 June to 30 September 2026.
For seniors aged 60 and over, in addition to the Thai Chua Thai Plus payment, they will also receive their regular old age allowance for June 2026 credited to their accounts as usual (monthly). Therefore, seniors will receive double payments: the Thai Chua Thai Plus funds and the old age allowance, both credited on 10 June 2026, to help ease their living expenses.
