Shops can still register for the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus” (60/40) until when? New shops and those who previously joined the Khon La Khrueng Plus project can check registration channels here.
After the government opened registration for citizens and shop operators to join the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) project on 25 May 2026, many people showed strong interest in registering for benefits through the Paotang app.
Types of shops eligible to join the project
1. Shop operators
1.1 Operators of food, beverage, and general merchandise shops who are Thai nationals and not juristic persons, excluding discount economy shops (Thong Fah shops) that are not juristic persons, except Thong Fah shops of cooperatives under the Cooperatives Act B.E. 2542 (1999) and its amendments.
1.2 Shops of village funds or urban community funds under the National Village and Urban Community Fund Act B.E. 2547 (2004).
1.3 Shops of community enterprises under the Community Enterprise Promotion Act B.E. 2548 (2005) and its amendments.
Additionally, 1) shops must not be convenience stores operating as franchise businesses; 2) must not operate by purchasing goods from others for resale with payment to those suppliers based on sales commissions or other compensations, except businesses with their own establishments; and 3) must have verifiable operations.
2. Public transport operators
2.1 Public transport operators who are Thai nationals and not juristic persons.
2.2 Operators of passenger cars for hire with up to seven seats (TAXI – METER), legally registered route vans, public three-wheeled vehicles, songthaew (shared taxis), and public motorcycles. Drivers must have valid public vehicle driving licenses.
2.3 Operators of verifiable passenger transport vehicles such as pedicabs.
3. Public mass transit operators Including urban electric trains, trains, public buses, joint service buses operating with licensed bus operators, and public ferries.
4. Small juristic persons Specifically companies or partnerships established under Thai law that have filed corporate income tax returns (Form P.N.D. 50) and financial statements for the 2024 accounting period, selling food, beverages, general merchandise, and providing public transport services, with income not exceeding 1.8 million baht according to the Revenue Department database as of 30 April 2026. Public transport providers must have valid legal permits.
5. Shops must not have had their rights suspended or been required to return funds in the Khon La Khrueng phases 1-5 or Khon La Khrueng Plus projects.
Providers of massage, spa, nail, or hairdressing services are not eligible to register as shops in the project.
New shops register for Thai Chuey Thai Plus
New shops can apply to join the project at booths set up by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Krungthai Bank or at any Krungthai Bank branch from 25 May to 31 July 2026.
1. Have a Krungthai Bank account.
2. Register as a Thung Ngern shop viawww.ถุงเงินกรุงไทย.comand download/update the Thung Ngern app to the latest version.
3. Check your business type and download the application form to submit to the relevant agency.
4. Submit verified documents to the project service points.
5. Shops will receive approval results via SMS.
6. Once approved, the Thai Chuey Thai Plus banner will appear on the Thung Ngern app.
7. Accept the project's terms and conditions.
8. Receive payments for goods and services from the public from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00.
9. Check payment history on the Thung Ngern app.
Shop operators who previously participated in the Khon La Khrueng Plus project can confirm their participation through the “Thung Ngern” application to join the new project until 30 September 2026. However, shops that previously joined the Khon La Khrueng Plus project or newly registered shops that have passed data verification are asked to check consent, acknowledgment, and acceptance of terms and conditions in the “Thung Ngern” app
to complete their registration successfully. “Thung Ngern” app is required to finalize shop registration.
