
The Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) has issued its latest announcement specifying the date, time, exam venue, and regulations. It states that candidates are prohibited from arriving more than 30 minutes late, sitting in the wrong seat, leaving the exam room early, or bringing watches into the exam.
On 28 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters announced that OPDC released its latest announcement concerning the date, time, venue, and regulations for the 2026 general knowledge and aptitude exam (Paper & Pencil).

The announcement requires candidates to comply strictly with the following rules:
1. Candidates must obey and follow the orders and instructions of the exam supervisor or proctors that do not conflict with these exam regulations strictly.
2. Candidates must dress neatly and behave politely.
3. Before entering the exam room, candidates must present the following documents:
4. Entry to the exam room will not be allowed without both the exam admission card and valid identification. If the 13-digit ID number does not match the registration data, or if the photo uploaded is not of the candidate or does not meet requirements, the candidate will be disqualified, must remain in the room until the exam ends, and their exam will not be scored.
5. Only the exam admission card, identification card or permission via ThaiID or DLT QR LICENCE app, pencils with hardness 2B or higher, erasers, non-electronic pencil sharpeners, and pens are allowed into the exam room. Candidates must bring these items themselves.
If it is necessary to bring car keys, remote controls, small wallets, or any kind of jewelry into the exam room, they must be placed in a clear plastic bag brought by the candidate and placed under the exam chair. OPDC is not responsible for any damage or loss.
6. Strictly prohibited items in the exam room include communication devices, cameras, audio recorders, calculators, electronic devices, watches of any kind, documents, textbooks, notes, bags, or any other items not listed in rule 5. Possession of such items will be deemed intent to cheat, result in immediate disqualification, requiring the candidate to remain in the room until the exam ends without scoring.
7. Candidates must attend the exam on the specified date, time, and venue as listed at the end of this announcement. It is the candidate's responsibility to know their exam schedule and location.
8. Candidates are prohibited from entering the exam room before authorized by the supervisor or proctors. Candidates will be called into the exam room at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. Those arriving more than 30 minutes after the exam start time will not be permitted entry.
9. Once the exam has started, candidates are not allowed to leave the exam room until the exam time ends. Leaving early will be considered a violation of exam regulations, causing disqualification and no scoring.
10. Candidates must sit in their assigned seat, exam room, venue, date, and time as determined by OPDC. Sitting in the wrong seat or room after the exam starts will result in disqualification, no permission to leave early, and no scoring.
11. Candidates must use the answer sheets provided by OPDC. Signing or answering on another candidate’s answer sheet will result in no scoring.
