On 28 May 2026, reporters reported that the Thai Chuey Thai Plus program has opened for people to claim participation rights through the application “Pao Tang ” for the 4th day. This program aims to assist people affected by the energy crisis caused by the conflict in the Middle East region, easing expenses and preserving purchasing power.

Regarding the program “Thai Chuey Thai Plus” it will help and ease impacts for over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card mechanism (known as the “poor card”) totaling 13.18 million people, and approximately 30 million general public rights (without the welfare card).

Everyone will receive financial aid of 1,000 baht per month for 4 months, totaling 4,000 baht, from 1 June to 30 September 2026. State Welfare Card holders do not need to re-register, but the general public who receive the 60/40 benefit must register through the “Pao Tang” app by Krung Thai Bank.
