
Updated steps for scan-to-pay "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" via the app "Paotang" with an easy step-by-step guide including how to top up the G-Wallet, starting 1 Jun 2026
After the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" program opened for public registration via the "Paotang" application with the aim to assist people affected by the energy crisis caused by conflicts in the Middle East region, the government will co-pay 60/40 to ease expenses and maintain purchasing power for 30 million eligible people.
The system allows public registration for Thai Chuey Thai Plus via the Paotang app daily from 06:00 to 22:00 until 29 May 2026 or until quotas run out, with benefits usable from 1 Jun 2026.
Those who register via the Paotang app will receive a notification stating "You have been granted Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) benefits and can start using them from 1 Jun 2026." They can spend at participating stores without losing eligibility or a fixed start date; spending can begin anytime between 1 Jun 2026 and 30 Sep 2026 by paying through the G-Wallet within the Paotang app.

There are 4 ways to top up your G-Wallet:
1. Mobile Banking from Krungthai Bank, Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bangkok Bank, Krungsri Bank, TMBThanachart Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Savings Bank, and UOB by entering the 15-digit G-Wallet ID and amount.
2. Using a Krungthai Bank account linked within the Paotang app (must have a Krungthai Bank account linked in the app).
3. QR PromptPay by scanning the QR code with any bank's Mobile Banking.
4. ATMs of Krungthai Bank, Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bangkok Bank, Krungsri Bank, TMBThanachart Bank by selecting the PromptPay top-up menu, entering the 15-digit G-Wallet ID and amount.
