/ / The Thai Chua Thai Plus program opened for citizens to register via the Paotang application to assist those affected by the energy crisis caused by conflicts in the Middle East. How much money must be topped up each time for Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)?

Since the government limits spending to no more than 200 baht per person per day or up to the monthly credit limit (1,000 baht per month, max 4,000 baht over the program),

For a purchase of 100 baht,

  • the government pays 60% or 60 baht,
  • while the citizen pays 40% or 40 baht.

For a purchase of 200 baht,

  • the government pays 60% or 120 baht,
  • and the citizen pays 40% or 80 baht.

If the government pays you 1,000 baht in a month, you will need to pay an additional approximately 666.67 baht yourself, totaling about 1,667 baht in spending for the month.

Over the entire program, the government will pay a total of 4,000 baht, meaning citizens can spend up to approximately 6,667 baht on eligible goods and services, but only pay about 2,667 baht themselves.
