Rescue teams have brought out four more survivors trapped inside a cave in Laos, making a total of five rescued so far, while urgently searching for two more missing individuals.
Updates on the search operation for seven Lao people trapped inside a cave in Khammouane Province, Laos, since Tuesday, 19 May 2026.
Good news was later announced that rescue teams found five trapped individuals by 27 May 2026 and had already helped one person out at 20:40 on 29 May 2026.
Most recently, on 30 May 2026, it was reported that a Facebook pagePond Chakkris Detonateda member of the Thai rescue team involved in the mission, updated that at 15:10 today they managed to rescue an additional four people, totaling five rescued, with two still missing who require further search efforts.
However, the rescued survivors were clearly exhausted, amid the joy of their relatives.
