The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announced that it is necessary to "turn off the power" in Bangkok to improve or maintain the electricity supply system for better efficiency.

To ensure safety during operations, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply to several areas as follows.

Power outage on 31 May 2026 in Bangkok areas

• On Nut Road inbound, On Nut 80 Soi, Intersection 5, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Along Intraphitak Road, from Wat Yai Srisuphan 2 Soi mouth to near Wongwian Yai, from 08:30 to 12:00.
• Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Road, Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Soi 9, Soi Lung Hok, Ratchamontri Canal community and nearby areas as per the power outage announcement, from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Songprapha Road, Pracha Uthit 4 Soi, from 08:30 to 11:00.
• Along Sai Mai Road, even-numbered side from near Sai Mai 16 Soi to Sai Mai 24 Soi, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Rat Burana Road, Rat Burana 4 Soi, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Ratchadaphisek 7 Road, Nathon 7 Soi, from 08:30 to 14:00.

Power outage on 31 May 2026 in Nonthaburi areas

• Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road, Pinthong Thani Soi, from 08:30 to 15:00.
• Along Yothathikan-Nonthaburi Road, in front of Anabuki Village and the area from Bang Len Soi 7 to Lotus Wat Suan Kaew, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Bang Sri Muang Road, Bang Sri Muang 1/23 Soi (Attorney Soi), from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Pracha Uthit Road, from Chumphon Panich Market area along the canal toward the M81 expressway to Nuantong Soi near Charoensuk (East) Canal, from 08:30 to 15:00.
• Along Pathum Thani-Bang Len Road (346), from entrance of house no. 42/6 Soi to in front of Church of the Light of the Lord, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Chaeng Watthana Road, Chaeng Watthana-Pak Kret 6 Soi, from 10:30 to 13:30.
• Chaeng Watthana Road, from Chaeng Watthana-Pak Kret 43 Soi (Thai Airways Cooperative Housing) at the riser pole at the soi entrance, for Pink Line MRT project to upgrade medium voltage poles and equipment, replacing a 12-meter leaning pole due to customer complaints, from 08:30 to 14:30.

• Suksawat Road, Suksawat 70 Soi, Intersection 13, power off continuously from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Suksawat Road, Wat Kae - Chedi Soi inbound, from the pawnshop building at Phra Samut Chedi canal entrance to Supakit Logistics Co., Ltd., from 08:30 to 16:30.
• Sukhumvit Road, Saengthawi Leather Factory Soi, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Sailuat Road, west side of Khlong Taket Soi, from 08:30 to 17:00.
