Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) is preparing to open for public spending through the app "Pao Tang" on the first day, 1 June 2026, from 6 AM to 11 PM
On 31 May 2026, Mr. Winij Wisesuwanphoom, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, invited the public to use their rights under the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) project, which will begin on 1 June 2026, and provided an update on store registrations in the project as follows.
1. Public Spending
Eligible participants can start spending from 1 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 - 23:00) through the "Pao Tang" application. They will receive a 60% subsidy on food, beverages, goods, and services from participating stores, capped at 200 baht per person per day and 1,000 baht per person per month. Any unused monthly subsidy will not roll over to the next month.
For the launch of spending under the project, Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited has prepared its system to support payments through the "Pao Tang" app for the public.
The public can preload funds into their G-Wallet (the government's electronic wallet) in advance for use in scanning payments under the project, or top up anytime 24 hours a day.
Additionally, participants can purchase food or drinks from participating stores via approved Food Delivery Platforms through the "Pao Tang" app, available from 15 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 - 21:00).
2. Update on Store Registration in the Project
Regarding the progress of store registrations in the project, as of 9:00 AM on Sunday, 31 May 2026, the registered stores are as follows.
1. Stores with completed registration: 721,644
1.1 Existing stores: 659,913
1.2 New stores: 61,731
2. Stores in the process of application/verification: 329,454
2.1 Waiting for stores to accept the project terms and conditions: 325,844
2.2 Under verification process: 3,610
The project has received strong interest, with over 26 million rights issued. Store owners are encouraged to continue registering. Those who participated in the Khon La Khrueng Plus project can confirm their participation until 30 September 2026.
New stores that have never participated in Khon La Khrueng Plus can register to join the project until 31 July 2026. Stores that have participated in Khon La Khrueng Plus or new stores that have passed verification should check and accept the terms and conditions in the “Thung Ngern” app to complete registration and enable payments from the public.
