Bangkok Pride Parade 2026 Kicks Off with Grand Parade Blending Local Culture

The Bangkok Pride Parade 2026 has started under the theme "PATCH THE WORLD WITH PRIDE" with a grand parade blending local culture and revealing key highlights.

At 16:30 on 31 May 2026, it was reported that the Bangkok Pride Parade 2026, under the theme "PATCH THE WORLD WITH PRIDE," marks a significant step for Bangkok toward becoming a Global Pride Hub and the host of WorldPride 2030.

This year, the parade is bigger than before, following a new route from Khlong Chong Nonsi Park heading to Silom Road, incorporating local culture such as Isan Mor Lam performances. The main highlights are as follows:

• Silom is transformed into a 'Rainbow Street' with over 500 meters of rainbow flags covering the road.
• The parade covers a full 4.8 km route from Chong Nonsi to Silom and Rama I Road.

The event organizers announced road closures on Rama I Road (from Pathumwan Intersection to Chaloem Phao Intersection) on Sunday, 31 May 2026, from 16:00 to 19:00. They ask drivers to avoid this area during the specified time and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
