How to Scan and Pay with Thai Chua Thai Plus via Paotang App: Easy and Convenient Payment

Steps to use the program benefits "Thai Chua Thai Plus" via the app "Paotang" plus checking which products participate in the program and what can or cannot be purchased


"Thai Chua Thai Plus" is open for the public to join through the application "Paotang" to assist people affected by the energy crisis caused by the conflict in the Middle East, easing expenses and preserving purchasing power.

The Thai Chua Thai Plus program will help and alleviate impacts for over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card (the poor card) totaling 13.18 million people, and the general public without the welfare card, about 30 million rights holders.

Meanwhile, Mr. Winij Wisesuwanphumi, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, invited the public to use the Thai Chua Thai Plus program (60/40), which opens for spending starting 1 June 2026. Spending is available from 1 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 - 23:00) via the "Paotang" app, receiving support for food, beverages, products, and services at participating stores at a 60% rate, up to 200 baht per person per day and no more than 1,000 baht per person per month. Any unused monthly balance will not roll over to the next month.

For the program's spending launch, Krungthai Bank has prepared its system to support payments via the "Paotang" app. People can top up their G-Wallet anytime, 24 hours a day, to scan and pay within the program.

Additionally, people can order food or drinks from participating stores via approved food delivery platforms through the "Paotang" app, with eligibility from 15 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 - 21:00).

Timeline for "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)": When can you use the benefits until?

  • 1 June 2026

The first day citizens can use the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) benefits, from 06:00 to 23:00 daily.

  • 15 June 2026

First day to use benefits for food delivery, from 06:00 to 21:00 daily.

  • 30 September 2026

End of the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) program.

Steps to use the Thai Chua Thai Plus program benefits via the Paotang app

Using the Thai Chua Thai Plus program (60/40)

1. Open the "Paotang" app and select the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) program banner.

2. Press the scan QR button to use the benefits.

3. Scan the merchant's Tong Ngern QR code.

4. Press Confirm to verify payment / top up via Krungthai Bank account if G Wallet balance is insufficient.

5. Enter the 6-digit Paotang PIN.

6. Save the receipt for the completed transaction.

Using the benefits for citizens

Start using benefits for shopping at stores

  • Pay via G Wallet in the "Paotang" app.
  • Available from 1 June to 30 September 2026, 06:00 - 23:00.

Order food via food delivery

  • Food delivery platforms participating in the program, paying via G Wallet in the "Paotang" app.

Reminder of conditions for using the Thai Chua Thai Plus program (60/40)

  • Before first use, recipients must check their remaining balance and conditions for using the benefits.
  • For buying and selling goods or providing and receiving services, both buyer and seller must conduct face-to-face transactions and scan QR codes for payment. Online or intermediary transactions of any kind are not allowed.
  • Benefits can be used daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
  • Participants must not engage in any actions that cause misunderstandings or obstruct any government measures or programs.

In case of ordering food or drinks via food delivery service providers (food delivery platforms)

  • Use of benefits through food delivery platforms must be for purchasing food and drink items by eligible participants only.
  • The government will support only the cost of food and beverages, excluding delivery fees or other expenses.
  • Benefits for ordering food and drinks via food delivery platforms can be used daily from 06:00 to 21:00.
  • It is prohibited to receive or demand cash change or any benefits other than ordering food and drinks through the food delivery platform under any circumstance.
  • Buying and selling food and drinks via the food delivery platform must be genuine transactions, with buyer and seller not in the same location or the same person.
