Launched! Scan-and-pay "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" The first day was lively, with crowds topping up G Wallet in the Paotang app to shop in the program. Check here how to verify your remaining entitlement and how much you can still use each day.

Project update "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" which has opened for citizens to claim participation rights through the "Paotang" application to help those affected by the energy crisis caused by the conflict in the Middle East region. The government pays half (60/40) to ease expenses and maintain purchasing power.

As of today (1 June 2026), participants can start using the rights, available from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00, via the "Paotang" app.

Users receive support funds for food, drinks, goods, and specified services from participating merchants at a 60% rate, capped at 200 baht per person per day and 1,000 baht per person per month. Any unused monthly balance will not roll over to the next month.

"Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40)" - Check usage conditions

  • Before first use, beneficiaries must check their remaining rights and usage conditions.
  • For buying and selling goods or services, both buyer and seller must conduct face-to-face transactions and scan a QR code for payment. Transactions cannot be done online or through intermediaries by any method.
  • Rights can be used daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
  • Participants must not engage in any actions causing misunderstandings or hindering the implementation of any government measures or projects.

Guide to check "Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40)" remaining daily usage rights

The Thai Chuey Thai Plus project limits spending rights to no more than 200 baht per person per day or up to the total entitlement (1,000 baht per person per month, maximum 4,000 baht for the entire project). Each day, remaining rights can be checked by opening the "Paotang" app, selecting the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) banner, which shows payment scanning details as follows.

  • Displays "Remaining rights today" available for spending.
  • Displays project conditions and usage hours for Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) (usage time 06:00 - 23:00).
  • View usage history for the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) project.
  • Shows total remaining rights for the entire project duration.
  • Displays a QR scan bar to use rights with participating "Tung Ngern" merchants in the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) program.
  • You can also view participating merchants in the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) program as shown on the screen.


How to use "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" scan-and-pay

Steps to scan and pay via the "Paotang" app are as follows.

1. Open the "Paotang" application.

2. Go to the G-Wallet menu and select the Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40) banner.

3. Tell the merchant "I’ll pay with Thai Chuey Thai Plus," then the merchant will provide a QR code for payment.

4. Press the "Scan to use rights" button and point your phone at the merchant's QR code participating in the program.

5. Check the payment amount (the system will automatically calculate the 60:40 payment split).

6. Press Confirm to complete payment (if your balance is insufficient, top up your G-Wallet).

7. Enter your 6-digit PIN to finalize the transaction.

Using "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" rights to order food via food delivery

Using Thai Chuey Thai Plus rights to order food via participating food delivery platforms will start from 15 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 21:00, with payment via G Wallet in the Paotang app, under the following conditions.

  • Usage through food delivery platforms must be for purchasing food and drinks only by eligible participants.
  • The government supports only the cost of food and drinks, excluding delivery fees or other charges.
  • Food and drink orders via food delivery platforms can be placed daily from 06:00 to 21:00.
  • It is prohibited to receive or demand cash change or other benefits aside from ordering food and drinks through the food delivery platform, under any circumstance.
  • Food and drink transactions via food delivery platforms must be genuine sales between buyers and sellers who are not at the same location or the same person.
