
The steps to top up the G Wallet in the Paotang app for scanning payments under the "Thai Choo Thai Plus" program are as follows:
"Thai Choo Thai Plus" The public can join the program via the application "Paotang" to assist people affected by the energy crisis caused by the conflict in the Middle East region, alleviating living costs and maintaining consumers' purchasing power.
The Thai Choo Thai Plus project aims to help and ease impacts for over 43 million people, divided into vulnerable groups through the State Welfare Card mechanism (13.18 million people) and the general population (those without the card), about 30 million eligible.
Mr. Winij Wisetsuwanphum, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, invited the public to use the rights under the Thai Choo Thai Plus (60/40) program, which launched for spending on 1 June 2026. Spending is allowed from 1 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 - 23:00) via the application. "Paotang" Participants will receive a 60% subsidy on food, beverages, goods, and services from participating stores, capped at 200 baht per person per day and 1,000 baht per person per month. Any unused funds in a month will not carry over to the next.
For the program’s spending launch, Krungthai Bank has prepared its system to support payments via the application "Paotang" users can top up their G-Wallet for scanning payments in the program, available 24 hours a day.
Additionally, people can purchase food or drinks from participating stores through approved Food Delivery Platform services via the "Paotang" app, with rights usable from 15 June to 30 September 2026 (06:00 - 21:00).

There are three ways to top up the G Wallet:
1. Mobile Banking from Krungthai, Siam Commercial, Kasikorn, Bangkok, Krungsri Ayudhya, TMBThanachart, Agricultural and Cooperatives, Government Savings, and UOB banks, by entering the 15-digit G Wallet ID and the amount.
