MEA Announces Power Outages on 2 June 2026 in Multiple Areas of Bangkok and Nonthaburi

Area inspection The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces power outages on 2 June 2026 in Bangkok and Nonthaburi to develop and maintain the electrical supply system for greater efficiency.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has announced the necessity of scheduled power outages in Bangkok and Nonthaburi on Tuesday, 2 June 2026, to upgrade and maintain the electrical distribution system for enhanced efficiency. The work also involves installing equipment to convert power lines from overhead to underground cables. To ensure safety during these operations, MEA will temporarily suspend electricity supply in several areas as detailed below.

Power outage on 2 June 2026 in Bangkok

  • Along the expressway-adjacent road, motor lane, at Soi Khlong Thap Chang Bon and Khlong Thap Chang Lang, from 09:00 to 16:00.

Power outage on 2 June 2026 in Nonthaburi

  • Along Tiwanon Road near Soi Tiwanon 35 for high-voltage line upgrades to install equipment converting overhead lines to underground cables, from 08:30 to 13:00.
  • Tiwanon Road, internal areas of Soi 41 and behind Soi 37 and Soi 39, for high-voltage line upgrades to install equipment converting overhead lines to underground cables, from 08:30 to 13:00.
  • Tiwanon Road, internal area of Soi Tiwanon 43, for high-voltage line upgrades to install equipment converting overhead lines to underground cables, from 08:30 to 13:00.
