Good News: Student Loan Fund Opens Loans for Vocational Certificate Students in Academic Year 2026 to Support Vocational Students

The Student Loan Fund (SLF) announces good news: loans are available for Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Chor) students in academic year 2026 to support "vocational students" across fields including agro-industry, agricultural technology and innovation, and Thai arts and culture.

On 2 June 2026, the Student Loan Fund announced good news that it will provide loans to vocational education students for academic year 2026, covering both Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Chor) and Higher Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Sor) levels. The loans cover a wide range of fields to support employment, meeting labor market needs and national development.

The SLF revealed that this year it offers loan opportunities for vocational students at both Vocational Certificate and Higher Vocational Certificate levels, covering fields in industrial agriculture technology and fisheries that focus on applying modern technology, including agro-industry, agricultural technology and innovation, farm management, and modern harvesting. These are fields with high demand from the private sector and government agencies. Additionally, the fund emphasizes promoting Thai arts and culture fields such as fine arts, handicrafts, royal goldsmithing, traditional Thai dance, and Thai music to preserve cultural heritage alongside vocational skill development.

Vocational students wishing to apply for loans can check the list of eligible fields and submit their application through their educational institution according to the fund's schedule. New applicants must first apply for loan pre-approval through the Pre-Approve system to preliminarily screen eligibility before signing the loan agreement via the digital Student Loan Fund system (DSL).

The SLF emphasizes that technical and specialized professionals currently command high wages and have rapid career growth opportunities. Therefore, choosing vocational education today not only trains skills in demand by the labor market but also comes with loan support to ease financial burdens, allowing students to fully focus on skill development.
