
Registration channels "State Welfare Card" new round for 2026, emphasizing that "existing groups and those previously missed" must register to receive benefits.
On 2 June 2026 GMT+7, Dr. Akniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, announced that the Cabinet has approved the registration process for the State Welfare program in 2026. This initiative aims to genuinely assist low-income citizens who meet the target criteria to receive basic government welfare benefits and improve their quality of life.
Mr. Laworan Saengsanit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, also stated that current State Welfare Card holders must register to confirm their eligibility under the new criteria. The summary is as follows:

3. Must have income or payments to any individual not exceeding 100,000 baht per year.
4. Must not hold a credit card.
5. Must not have combined loan credit exceeding 100,000 baht.
6. Must not have deposits or lottery holdings exceeding 100,000 baht annually.
7. Must not own real estate, or if owning real estate, it must meet the following limits:
8. Must not own a car or other vehicles, except for motorcycles with engine capacity not exceeding 300 cc, three-wheeled cars, small four-wheeled hired cars, or agricultural vehicles, limited to one unit per type.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and Pattaya City will conduct surveys of previously missed individuals based on the Basic Needs Database (JPT) from the Community Development Department or the electronic family booklet system from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. They will register data through the Ministry of Interior’s system for verifying those missed from State Welfare benefits. Officials from these agencies will facilitate on-site registration.
