State Welfare Card 2026: Benefits for Qualified Recipients After Eligibility Verification

Registration for the State Welfare Card in 2026. Clear details on the benefits for those who have passed eligibility verification and identity confirmation.


The 2026 State Welfare Registration Project. Preparations are underway to open registration for rights confirmation to participate in the program for all applicants. This aims to assist low-income citizens who truly meet the target criteria in receiving basic government welfare rights and improving their quality of life.

Currently, all holders of the State Welfare Card must register to confirm their rights to participate in the program. Registration for rights confirmation is available from 4 to 21 June 2026 via various channels, including:

Those who have passed the eligibility verification and identity confirmation will receive the following benefits:

1. A credit of 300 baht per person per month for purchasing essential consumer goods, educational supplies, and agricultural raw materials from government-subsidized shops under the Ministry of Commerce and other designated stores.

2. A discount credit of 80 baht per person every three months for purchasing cooking gas from shops designated by the Ministry of Energy.

3. A travel credit of 750 baht per person per month for public transportation, usable on eight types of transportation systems, including:

  • Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) buses.
  • Transport Company Limited (BorKorSor) buses.
  • Electric trains from Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTS), Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT), and the Eastern High-Speed Rail Linking Three Airports Company Limited.
  • Trains.
  • Private buses partnered with BMTA, private buses, and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration vehicles.
  • Private buses partnered with BorKorSor and other private buses.
  • Hired two-row passenger vehicles.
  • Public passenger boats, with no limit on credit according to vehicle type.

4. Electricity cost relief measures: a subsidy of 315 baht per household per month. If electricity usage exceeds the specified limit, the beneficiary must cover the full electricity cost.

5. Water cost relief measures: a subsidy of 100 baht per household per month. If water usage costs exceed 100 baht but do not exceed 315 baht, beneficiaries will receive support for 100 baht and must pay the excess themselves. If usage exceeds 315 baht, beneficiaries bear the full water cost.
