How to register for the "State Welfare Card 2026" through the welfare.mof.go.th website in detail, with a reminder that all existing cardholders must re-register to confirm their eligibility.
The 2026 State Welfare Card registration project aims to assist genuinely low-income citizens who meet the target criteria to receive basic government welfare and improve their quality of life. Registration starts from 4 June 2026 until 21 June 2026.
The urgent reason for this registration project is that current State Welfare Card holders registered since 2022, and some eligible people were excluded and unable to join previous rounds.
Therefore, to promptly address the issue of low-income individuals not receiving the State Welfare Card (Exclusion Error) and to target the correct beneficiaries aligned with current conditions, the project is expedited. It runs concurrently with the Thai Chua Thai Plus program to assist all target groups during a period of rising energy prices and increased living costs.

Each bank will operate according to its own branches' business days and hours.
For confirming registration via the project's main website, the steps are as follows:
The eligibility check results will be announced on 17 July 2026, and benefits can be used starting 1 August 2026 after identity confirmation. New registrants confirming identity after 1 August 2026 can use benefits from the confirmation date.
Current recipients of the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) program who pass eligibility checks will receive State Welfare Card benefits instead of the Thai Chua Thai Plus benefits. Such individuals should promptly confirm their identity through the Pao Tang app to receive the State Welfare Card benefits from the announcement date (17 July 2026). Benefits start on 1 August 2026. Failure to confirm by 1 August 2026 will result in loss of Thai Chua Thai Plus benefits as well.
