MEA Announces Power Outages on 5 June 2026 in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan

Check which areas are affected. The Metropolitan Electricity Authority announces power outages on 5 June 2026. In the areas of Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi to improve and maintain the efficiency of the electricity distribution system.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announced that it is necessary to "turn off the power" in areas of Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi on Friday, 5 June 2026. This is to improve and maintain the efficiency of the electricity distribution system, and to install equipment to convert the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily suspend electricity supply in several locations as follows.

• Muban Nakkee Laemthong Road, Muban Nakkee Laemthong Soi 6, 8, 10 / High-voltage transformer replacement due to near failure, from 09:30 to 13:00.
• Suksawat Road (Hun Chuan Suk Soi), near Suksawat Soi 30, Intersection 8-1, from 08:30 to 15:00.
• Along Songprapha Road near Soi Songprapha 2 Intersection 8 and Intersection 6 to Soi Sornakom 8 (Soi Taweewat 4) and Soi Sornakom 8 Intersection 2-1, from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Road, Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Soi 30 Intersection 5, from 09:30 to 11:00.
• Navamin Road, Navamin Soi 69 Intersection 3, from 09:00 to 15:30.

• Pujao Samingphrai Road, Tambon Samrong Tai, Samut Prakan, near Tra Phet Factory Soi, from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Bangna-Trad Road inbound, near Health Care Soi Bangna, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Sukhumvit Road, Santicam Soi 6, from 08:30 to 15:30.
