Reporters note that the websiteof the Metropolitan Waterworks AuthorityorMWAhas announced areas experiencing water outages or low water pressure on 5 June 2026 due to maintenance on water pipes, pipe joint closures, pressure adjustments, and suspension of pumping station and water treatment plant operations, with details as follows:

Notification of water outage on 5 June 2026 at operational points (covering Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan areas)

1. Between Soi Lat Phrao 101, intersections 23 and 25

• On 5 June 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipe joint closure of 300 mm PVC pipes will occur.
• Affected areas: Lat Phrao, from Soi Lat Phrao 101 intersection 17 to intersection 27; Khlong Chan community from the end of Soi Lat Phrao 93 to the end of Soi Lat Phrao 101 intersection 19.

2. Soi Seri Thai 29

• On 5 June 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipe joint closure of 100 mm PVC pipes will occur.
• Affected areas: Seri Thai, Seri Thai 29, Bueng Kum Police Station area.

3. Soi Seri Thai 29

• On 5 June 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipe joint closure of 200 mm PVC pipes will occur.
• Affected areas: Seri Thai, Seri Thai 29, Bueng Kum Police Station area.

4. Soi Chalerm Phrakiat 30, intersection 11

• On 5 June 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipe joint closure of 300 mm PVC pipes will occur.
• Affected areas: Chalerm Phrakiat Rama 9 Road; Soi Chalerm Phrakiat 30 intersections 5 to 15; and intersections 14 to 20 (including side alleys).

5. Sirisuk Village

• On 5 June 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipe joint closure of 200 mm PVC pipes will occur.
• Affected areas: Chang Akat Uthit Road, where water will be out along the entire road and all of Soi Pracha Uthit.
