MEA Announces Power Outages on 6 June 2026 Affecting Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan

Check which areas will be affected. The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has announced power outages on 6 June 2026 in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi to upgrade and maintain the electricity distribution system for better efficiency.

Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces the necessity to "cut power supply" in areas of Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi. On Saturday, 6 June 2026, to upgrade and maintain the electricity distribution system to improve efficiency, and to install equipment to convert overhead electrical lines to underground cables. To ensure safety during operations, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as detailed below.

• Lat Phrao Road, Lat Phrao Soi 111/1, from 09:00 to 15:00.
• Along Tha Din Daeng Road, near Tha Din Daeng Road Soi opposite pairs and Soi Tha Din Daeng 1 up to part of Tha Din Daeng intersection, extending to the Thai Sikh Temple corner intersection, from 08:00 to 13:00.
• Chalong Krung Road, Soi Chalong Krung 80 to 86, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Cha Lam Nimit Road, starting from Soi Cha Lam Nimit 5, from 08:00 to 15:30.
