MEA Announces Power Outages on 7 June 2026 in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan

Check which areas will be affected: The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announced power outages on 7 June 2026 in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi to develop and maintain the electrical distribution system for improved efficiency.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announced the necessity to temporarily cut power in areas of Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi on Sunday, 7 June 2026. This is to develop and maintain the electrical distribution system for greater efficiency and to install equipment to convert the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during these operations, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in several locations as detailed below.

• Pracha Songkhro Road, Pracha Songkhro Soi 14 Intersection 2, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Lat Phrao Road, Soi Lat Phrao 101/3 and Lat Phrao 101/3 Intersection 2, from 09:00 to 15:00.
• Along Tha Din Daeng Road WLT0120, from Tha Din Daeng Soi 16 to near the entrance of Soi 14, from 08:00 to 13:00.
• Along Tha Din Daeng Road, from Soi Tha Din Daeng 16 to Lee Ha Huad Cooling Factory, from 08:00 to 13:00.
• Lat Phrao Road, Soi Lat Phrao 130 Intersection 6/2, from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Along New Phetchaburi Road, from Sam Yaek Soi Research Center to Dental Clinic Center, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Along Tha Din Daeng Road, from Tha Din Daeng Soi 14 and Soi 16 to inside Tha Din Daeng Soi 14 and Soi 16, from 08:00 to 13:00.

• Along Bang Phli-Kingkaew Road, from PTT gas station to M E F Company Limited, including Soi Muldeechao Mae Tubtim Bang Phli Foundation, Bueng Tako, Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare Manufacturing (Thailand) Limited, D Depo Company Limited, and BDI Soi. Power outages due to pole and wire relocation for road expansion, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Pu Chao Road, Soi Municipal Pu Chao 6 (Wat Mahawong), pole replacement in front of school, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Suksawat - Phra Samut Chedi Road, from Sam Yaek Chedi fresh market, Soi Thana Korn Community, Charoen Aksorn Holding Group Company Limited, C.R.C. • Rural Highway Nb.3008 (Wat Khlong Ta Klai Road), from near Wat Khlong Ta Klai to Soi Sue Dee and nearby areas, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Tiwanon Road, Soi Tiwanon 31, high-voltage line improvements to install equipment converting the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables, from 08:30 to 13:00.
