The 2026 State Welfare Card, also known as the poor welfare card, will have eligibility results announced on 17 July 2026. Benefits can be used starting 1 August 2026 after identity verification. If identity verification for new applicants occurs after 1 August 2026, benefits can be used from the verification date.

Currently, those receiving Thai Chai Thai Plus (60/40) benefits who pass eligibility verification will receive State Welfare Card benefits instead of Thai Chai Thai Plus (60/40) benefits.

Therefore, if you are one of these individuals, please promptly verify your identity via the Paotang application to receive the State Welfare Card benefits from the announcement date (17 July 2026). These benefits start 1 August 2026. If you do not verify your State Welfare Card eligibility before 1 August 2026, your Thai Chai Thai Plus (60/40) benefits will be terminated.
