Progress of the 2026 State Welfare Card registration project aims to assist low-income citizens who genuinely meet the target criteria, ensuring they receive basic government welfare rights and improve their quality of life. Registration opens from 4 June 2026 to 21 June 2026.
Existing State Welfare Cardholders can also check their 2026 registration status through the websites บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th or welfare.mof.go.th.
1. Go to the websitehttps://welfare.mof.go.thorhttps://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th
2. Click on the menu "Check Registration Status"
3. Choose "Check information with Digital ID" or "Check information with National ID number"
4. Enter your details and click "Check Information"
5. The screen will display the registration results for the State Welfare Card.
Applicants should wait for the eligibility verification results without further action and follow the announcement on 17 July 2026.
You need to register again because the information on your ID card is incorrect.
Applicants should check their registration status again the following day.
Additionally,if you fail to register by yourself,you do not need to use the same method again. You can contact one of the five participating banks’ registration units for assistance.
Once the eligibility results are announced on 17 July 2026, cardholders can start using their benefits from 1 August 2026 after identity verification. For new registrants verifying identity after 1 August 2026, benefits will start from the date of verification.
For current recipients of the Thai Chai Thai Plus (60/40) program who pass eligibility verification, they will receive the State Welfare Card benefits instead. Such individuals should promptly verify their identity through the Paotang application to receive the welfare card benefits from the announcement date (17 July 2026), with benefits starting 1 August 2026.
However, failure to verify State Welfare Card eligibility before 1 August 2026 will result in losing Thai Chai Thai Plus (60/40) benefits as well.
