On 9 June 2026, it was reported that the Department of Special Investigation, or DSI, announced a competitive exam for recruitment and appointment to government service for the positions of Special Case Officer, Administrative Officer, Finance and Accounting Officer, and Supplies Officer. The salary rates follow the Ministry of Justice announcement dated 14 February 2012 regarding the adjustment of criteria, methods, and conditions for salary determination based on qualifications certified by the Civil Service Commission.
1. For Special Case Officer positions (1 – 5), applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant experience after graduation under the Special Case Investigation Act B.E. 2547 (2004) and its amendments. This means applicants must be or have been government officials, employees, contract workers, or hired staff working continuously or cumulatively for at least 2 years in ministries, departments, or government agencies recognized as departments, regional or local administrations, state enterprises, public organizations, constitutional organizations, or other state agencies established by law, up to the closing date of 3 July 2026.
2. The examination to assess position-specific knowledge (maximum 200 points) for all positions will be conducted through a written multiple-choice test.
