"Ford Pakon" has responded after reports emerged that villagers filed complaints against his "father" claiming he deceived them out of nearly 100 million baht. He insists he is not involved and says if anyone is at fault, they should be held accountable.
Following reports that villagers complained that the father of "Ford," a well-known influencer, allegedly defrauded them of nearly 100 million baht, with multiple victims as previously reported,
most recently, "Ford Pakon" posted a message on Facebook under the name "Ford Pakon" stating, "I am open to hearing all opinions, but they must be based on truth, not assumptions that harm others. This is a public platform, but responsibility is personal. Before commenting, please consider your own finances."
Meanwhile, Ford revealed on the program "Hone Krasae" that he admitted feeling overwhelmed and stressed because the amount involved is very large. However, he emphasized that he had no involvement or knowledge of the matter. He said he lived with his grandmother and aunt from about three months old because his parents had to work. He only started living with his mother during late high school. When he entered university and moved into a dormitory, he separated from his parents. At that time, his father opened another business site, and Ford helped occasionally on weekends due to studying but was not involved in what his father did with the money. He only knew his father had little money then and had to work to support his education. Later, he found out there were debts but did not know they were so large. When he had money, he helped pay some of the debts as much as he could.
Ford also insisted he never knew his father used his bank account, because if that were true, he would have noticed large sums of money being transferred in, but he never did.
Regarding the victims planning to file complaints at the Crime Suppression Division, Ford said he is not worried and welcomes it. He sometimes meets his father; the latest was at the opening of Ford's laundry shop, where his father attended a merit-making ceremony. When the news broke, they spoke on the phone, and his father told him not to get involved and that the elders would handle it. Ford said he does not know where his father currently is.
Additionally, Ford stated that this issue does not involve "Prairie" and admitted the situation is very serious. But if there is anything he can help with, he is willing to do so.
Ford concluded by saying he is not trying to defend anyone but insists that if anyone is guilty, they should be held accountable. He wants a thorough investigation and legal action if his father is at fault. He fears this situation could affect his own work, as social media comments have been very harsh.
