Bangkok Bank announced a temporary system shutdown on the morning of Saturday, 20 June 2026, to upgrade its system and enhance customer service efficiency, affecting transactions both domestically and internationally.

On 11 June 2026, reporters reported that Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited apologized for the inconvenience caused by the temporary electronic system maintenance scheduled to improve and enhance service efficiency on Saturday morning, 20 June 2026, from 01:00 to 07:00. During this period, both Bangkok Bank customers and customers of other banks will be unable to perform transactions as detailed below.

From 01:00 to 07:00,

• all types of transactions via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking will be unavailable.

From 01:00 to 06:00,

• all types of transactions through Bangkok Bank's various electronic channels will be unavailable.
  
  
• Holders of Bangkok Bank credit cards and prepaid cards will not be able to withdraw cash, transfer money, or make payments for goods and services at Bangkok Bank ATMs or other bank ATMs.
  
  
• Holders of all types of Bangkok Bank debit cards will not be able to withdraw cash, transfer money, or pay for goods and services at Bangkok Bank ATMs, other bank ATMs, or ATMs abroad.
  
  
• Holders of all types of Bangkok Bank debit cards and travel cards will not be able to make payments for goods and services online or via card readers (EDC) at any bank, both domestically and internationally.
  
  
• Holders of Bangkok Bank travel cards will not be able to withdraw cash from ATMs abroad.
