MEA Announces Power Outages on 12 June 2026 in Bangkok and Samut Prakan

The outages are part of efforts to enhance power distribution reliability.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced that it is necessary to "cut power supply" in areas of Bangkok and Samut Prakan on Friday, 12 June 2026. This is to develop and maintain the electricity distribution system for better efficiency, and to install equipment to convert overhead power lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in multiple locations as listed below.

Power outages on 12 June 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Dechatungka Road, Soi Dechatungka 1 (Casa City Don Mueang project), from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Chalong Krung Road, Crystal Soi, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Bang Waek Road, Thonburi Electricity District, from Bang Waek intersection - Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Road to Soi Bang Waek 77, from 08:45 to 12:00.
• Along Suksawat 2 Road, at Plang Anusorn community and other notified areas, from 09:00 to 15:30.
• Phahonyothin Road, Soi Phahonyothin 52, Thanawan Village, from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Kamphaeng Phet 6 Road, Soi Kamphaeng Phet 6 Yaek 5, from 09:00 to 19:42.

Power outages on 12 June 2026 in Samut Prakan areas

• Bang Phli-Tamru Road, Paksa Mai Subdistrict, Soi Nikhom North, from 09:30 to 13:00.
• Pu Chao Road, RS Condo Soi, power cut for tree trimming near power lines, from 08:30 to 14:30.
